It won't be easily pocketable. My Note 20 Ultra is 6.9" screen 164.8 x 77.2 x 8.1mm @ 208g and creates quite a bulge. It is the first iBasso to grab my attention, in a while, and the last review I did was the DX120. Just like many I am awaiting the moment.

How does it get that long when it is 6.5” ? My 11 pro max is also 6.5” but it isn’t much longer than Max

DX300 is a phablet

PCM 384kHz, DoP DSD 128
This doesn't shout ToTL to me.

Not sure if the DSD128 limit applies only when using DoP or always - because even the DX160 plays DSD256 (but not DSD512).

Also worth noting, for comparison, that the DX160 unfolds MQA only 4x (to 176.4/192 kHz), even though it plays PCM 352.8/384 kHz) just fine, and so could, in theory, unfold to 8x (but that overloads the CPU, i guess)

Do you expect the MQA decoding to be done on the FPGA?
iBasso said MQA is not in place at the launch, but could be included in future FW update.
That is true, but the question is valid still. The MQA is better done by FPGA instead, but who knows what FPGA is built in the player ? It speed and prowess ? The 660 being used in R8 can unfold 16X

I think that spec is for COAX output instead of internal audio playback.
