Well even porta.fi who has an access to the most daps on the market said in his review that the dx300 is very close sonically to the TOTL days. And he was testing the dx300 with the stock amp. So again, saying that the sp2k is MILES ahead is another exaggerated statement. I've heard once AK se100 and it wasn't noticeably better than my old pioneer xdp-300r. It was bit better. And the price was like 2.5x higher.

Possibly DC input for external power supply as well

Well, I have owned practically every single AK DAP since the first, the AK100. I still have the SP2KCu and KA. Though I am In the process of thinning the herd and selling off the SE200 and SP1KCu.

All I will say is that whilst two years ago, it had a clearer advantage. Today? Well… That is all I will say.

So what my colleague Denis 1976 said sounds really very arrogant. I don't want to say offensive but kind of condescending. For my part, I had a lot of AK players in my personal possession. AK Junior, Ak 120 II, Ak 240, AK 240SS, AK 320 + Amp, Ak 380+ Amp. None of them liked me as much as DX 312. The 240 SS was really cool. But nobody convinced me personally in terms of sound and operation as much as DX312. And the performance for the money. AK is fully overpriced for that what you get. My opinion

So folks, let's stop arguing here or getting upset about any people. I got new toys on Thursday last week. The Oriolus Isabellae. They are still bur in. But I've been listening for a few hours. Really awesome !! A voice reproduction that is looking for its equal. Male and female voices. Incredible for the price. They are very coherent and have a great timbre. Musical instruments like piano trumpet guitar also sound totally true to nature. The bass range is not bad either. Oh yeah, and the cable that comes with it is very good too. So nice and soft. I am very surprised by the quality. The Isas have something captivating when I hear some pieces a shiver runs down my back. These are just first impressions after a short listening straight out of the box

As I understand mango player does not see cue files.
Uapp does not play DSF files, mango plays but if I have one DSF with cue file I can not play it track by track in mango.
How do you , guys, play such DSF files?

Agree! I just happened to pick this up in the past week as well. That’s one of the things i do enjoy about DDs: the timbre and emotiveness. Great thing is that the DX312 has plenty of quality power to drive the Isa to its full potential. The soundstage on the Isa on the DX312 is layered and deep.

The only thing I will say is that the nozzle of the Isa is thicker than its older sibling, the Traillii. Hence I found that stock ear tips that fit my ears for the Traillii doesn’t work as well for a good seal here. Hence, I had to switch out to half a size smaller on the Azla SednaEartFit Light. With that, the seal is perfect.
