My planars don't need juice, they need vodka.
Tru but you can use it for gin.
I’ve been always curious how home planar speakers sound. Love the headphones!
For some, even that is not enough. Susvara, for example, needs vodka plus gin plus rat poison, boiled at 200 degrees, directly fed through the cable. While boiling you need to throw in the CDs of the music you like.
Joke aside, does anyone know when DX300 will be available?

The unboxing videos before were from owners and stores. So it is out, but no idea about the global distributors.
I pre-ordered from HifiGo and they sent me an email that they already have it on hand. But of course they are not an official global distributor, so that is a grey stock risk.

The resolution on planar are sick but they can be one dimensional sounding. Well, you have a normal subwoofer to deal with those frequencies but I agree external psycho acoustics are totally different. I believe that you can use ibasso as an external player. I actually read that 2020-21 AK daps are all designed to have even to double up with great dimensions and imaging when played as a digital output surround sound or stereo speakers.
I believe the dx300 with it’s massive output should also sound great on home systems. It’s a feature rarely discussed on product threads/reviews ie sound quality + fw functionality & I am not sure why if these daps can double up as a part of your home entertainment??? Not to mention as a desktop dac linked up pc/Mac apps with external speakers. Why not!

They will ship it soon, so no tracking yet. They have the black colored version and if I want the Blue one I will need to wait another week.....so I opted for the black.
