If so, then nothing should worry you. It is common for the player to suddenly drop dead, especially if it is only a couple days new. The batteries are not fully calibrated. Just let it charge for a bit (3 hours or so) and you will be fineNow I have been able to turn it on .. I just did a full reset, let's see what happens.....
This problem is commonly known since dx200 for many years. Even my 2Max still does it from times to times and I am sure batteries are calibrated. Possibly some firmware glitches , but doesn’t bother me

This happened to my 2MAX I had to send it in. Came back quickly after repair. My Ibasso DX300Max is DEAD
I can't turn it on..it turns off when it tries to turn on.
The batteries are full
Yesterday I turned it off and I turned it on again
A little while ago I turned it on to listen to music, and it turned on without any problem, but after 15 minutes, it has turned off and I can not turn it on again
Incredible for a expensive new product
Sisco
But for me it never turned back on after the second time it reset.

hi all, I've no chance to listen to 300 max or even 220 max, so could someone explain the difference in SQ between 300 and Hugo 2. I'm thinking about these two options for my home/office transportable setup.
Thanks
Thanks

Happened to my DX160 as well. Had to send it in.
N ow seems to work ...I install all apps another time..
I had some glitch when my battery was fully charged. I had to press on the power button for longer time to turn it on. Then it was fine.If so, then nothing should worry you. Dx300 with amp12 shares a presentation with the Hugo 2. Lots of depth, subbass control and less midbass, and less forgiving in the treble.
300maxSS have similar bass control to the Hugo2, but is less sterile and clinical in the mids and treble. Way more forgiving.
Dx300 with amp11 is similar to the 3MAXSS but less subbass control and more punchiness. But the same musical tonality of the 3MAXSS but with a step less dynamics.

Tnx a lot, it looks like I should give a shot to amp12 and skip 300Max.Dx300 with amp12 shares a presentation with the Hugo 2. Lots of depth, subbass control and less midbass, and less forgiving in the treble.

Oh wow! I am glad I didn’t go for SS …. Never my cup of teas on the dx300 Amp11 MKI lolDx300 with amp12 shares a presentation with the Hugo 2. Lots of depth, subbass control and less midbass, and less forgiving in the treble.

3Mti at least sounds so close to Dx220 but with beautiful mid and lustrous highs with super and detailed textures
Oh my!! How have I missed the Ibasso original house sound from the DX200Ti era. Finally, I got it back in a better form
Yes, burn in is continuing, but that is the general consensus for now

Also one thing to note is that the 4.4 socket is a little tight. Please make sure to plug it in correctly and all the way. Because if you don’t, the amp may burn out. This is a potential problem from 4.4mm pentaconn as a design of being cylindrical and have balanced, ground pins
I have seen Amp11 burned out from Dx300 connecting to the Cayin C9 from other people.
So I just want to head up again for your new device

Exactly, and to my ears 3Max SS doesn't sound like dx311 mk1. Actually, when it comes to a regular dx300, I prefer amp11 mk2 tonality over mk1 and amp12. For me personally, the ideal amp module would have been the one with amp11 mk2 tonality and amp12 clean dedicated LO output
