Not at all. SD card vs sound quality is not exclusive to 3Max. Any device using SD card.

On another subject, since the 3MAX included coax cable is too short for my use, I tried a 4-pole 3.5mm-to-coax cable I had and it doesn't work with 3MAX. I think a 2-pole 3.5mm coax cable is necessary. Anyone try?

You can try the classifieds or secondary market. I've heard of people wanting to sell their 300 Max. Good luck with your hunt.

300max is still available in Germany, but I don't know whether this helps from an US perspective.

3 poles should work, and I have one that I don’t use. Want to help me scoop it up ?

I think I may have figured out why my 3Max is unable to connect to my iPhone 12 Pro Max running IOS 15.. Android 9 needs to be updated to enable support for WPA3 / SAE which IOS 15 uses for Hotspot connections..

Now, if only I could figure out how… can someone good with Android help?

Is that why I've not been able to hotspot my SP1K/2K and HM1K to any of my iOS devices? But I am still running iOS14 though.
