About this WET sound. Wondering if they release more amp for the dx240. Because for me the amp12 is like listening the dap from 1 tier above in comparison to the dx311.2. At least with my xelentos. And there is more coming for the dx300 i hope:wink:

No idea. The DX240 is really a DX220 upgrade.

Not a DX160 upgrade.
DX300 was more that.
Imho

But still. I am also wondering about the thinking of not having a 4.4mm. Its pretty standard for most releases now and many have jumped ship from 2.5 to 4.4. I am hoping its a typo :)

I think it would be better if Paul developed the DX300 line and released a DAP with the same screen, but in a thinner case. Switching from the DX300 to the DX220 causes discomfort when using a small screen after the excellent DX300’s screen.
But I can't figure out how I can install Amp8 in DX240 if the connectors on the replacement panel are only 3.5 and 2.5mm? And what should I do with Amp9?

I still scratching my head why the DX240 don't have a 4.4mm jack with the standard AmP. Everything seems perfect: size, weight, screen, DAC, power, MQA 16x and newer SoC. I really like my DX160 but it's sluggish even with Lurker add on and streaming it's almost impossible. At least I have a big collection of FLAC Hi Res files and it looks really nice with a leather case.

When is the released date and price? Glad that I still have the Amp8EX still.
