iBasso DX200 Bug Thread - Post Any Firmware Bugs/Issues Here

I'm experiencing a problem whereby the unit is not listing all of the 'artist' music content on either the internal storage or sd card when using Android Mango. The songs are present and can be located using the folder view. Missing artists reappear after doing a system rescan but will then disappear again randomly.

I noticed this yesterday as well and had to do a rescan. Using Lurker0 firmware mod.

Currently burning the device in. Looping on an album the player stops with a launcher 3 error when the battery reaches about 30% (ish). Different albums and songs.
Have you updated the firmware to the latest version? This famous bug gone a long ago!

The build number is 2.5.141 which I assume means the latest firmware has been installed. It didn't produce an error the last time it looped so maybe it's sorted itself out. I will try a factory reset the next time it happens.

Hi guys. sorry for the question maybe already answered still I wasn't able to find it through search (though I tried).
I have the latest stock fw with 2.7.188 build number.
For me gapless mode works only with separated *.flac files but never works when I play single *.flac file mapped to tracks with *.cue index.
I tried Android and Mango mode, tried to toggle 'gapless' switch - it doesn't give any difference, dx200 inserts 2-sec pauses at the end of each track.
Example: Say I have 10 min 'album.flac' file and set Gapless mode to 'on'.
* If I play this file like it is -> it works well (obviously no gaps)
* If I create 'album.cue' file in the same directory and map 'album.flac' to 1-min tracks -> I hear 2-sec gaps between tracks though it is still a single 'album.flac' file!
* If I cut 'album.flac' to 10 1-min pieces: 1.flac, 2.flac,...,10.flac -> there are no gaps between these tracks
Is it really possible to have Gapless mode on a multi-track single file or am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks!

DX200 with AM1. Firmware 2.7.

- When streaming from Tidal, Spotify or Apple Music I get random loud Pops when skipping tracks or fast forwarding them. Tested on both wifi 2.4 and 5ghz. Issue not present when playing tracks offline in Tidal, Spotify or Apple Music with WIFI off. Issue present in Mango player in Android only when using Mango player while at the same time downloading tracks from Tidal, Spotify or Apple Music.

- Changing Filter in Android doesn't get saved. When switching off and on again the player, the filter always gets back to Fast roll off minimum

One more problem on the stock 2.7.188
If single folders contains 2 sequential flac files mapped with indexes, the song list in this album is always wrong.
Here's an example.
Given:
*) Two flac files (LP1.flac, LP2.flac) and two corresponding cue sheets (LP1.cue, LP2.cue) are placed in a single folder.
*) LP1.cue contains tracks with indexes 01 .. 05, LP2.cue contains tracks with indexes 06 .. 10 of the same album.
*) Album is played by Mango player (Androis OS or Mango OS)
Expected:
*) Tracks are played in sequential order: LP1.01, LP1.02, LP1.03, LP1.04, LP1.05, LP2.06, LP2.07, LP2.08, LP2.09, LP2.10
Actual:
*) Tracks are played in mixed-sequential order: LP1.01, LP2.06, LP1.02, LP2.07, LP1.03, LP2.08, LP1.04, LP2.09, LP1.05, LP2.10

New bug with the last firmware (2.3.125) : Mango Android freezing when I play a DSD file (in Flac container) encoded 24 bits / 192 Khz / 5456 Kbps.

The same is happening to me with FW 2.7.188

Anyone experienced early skip of songs near the end during random/shuffle play?

Latest Firmware 2.7.188

DX200 won't connect as USB DAC to a Macbook Air with High Sierra. Neither with Mango or Android. Changed cables to no avail.

Just as well I can't even update it then! Verification failed and don't want to reset the player.

Are you opening the downloaded zip file and using the new zip file to do the update?
