Just ordered the DX160, since the DX220 seems to be EOL and the DX300 probably gonna be much more pricey then the DX220.
Can't wait to fill this thing with music!

There are no such settings. If you want to use an external USB DAC, you'd better use players which support it directly: Hiby, Neutron, UAPP.

It's weird that I cannot find both UAPP and Hiby music directly in the APK store on DX160. Do I have to download them somewhere else and then install through SD card?

That's strange. I'm not sure what would exactly fix it outside of trying generic troubleshooting like factory reset and making sure all the firmware/software is up to date.
Yes strange enough... But I have already tried factory reset and updated DX160 to the latest firmware but still this problem occurs man....
Thinking of upgrading my windows from 7 to 10 now....
Maybe this will fix it??

I use Google play store on DX160 for downloading apps (much more easier)
I have downloaded Hiby app from there and everything it's ok...

Sorry for another 2 n00b questions on this forum but is there any micro sd card size limitations on the IBasso? Is there a recommended speed and size? My flac collection is growing so I figured 512 might be the right size.

Also, are we able to offline download songs from tidal and spotify onto the micro sd storage?

thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure at least 1tb. I am using a 512gb SanDisk with no issues. Can't speak for tidal /Spotify but have downloaded nearly 200gb from Amazon music HD and used them offline again with no issues so should be fine.

It could handle a 2TB card, but since there are non on the market you can only put in a 1TB card.

UAPP will only work with play store and you wont find it anywhere else.

UAPP is amazing indeed. I was surprised to find out that it's not free but $8 later I cannot find myself using any other app. Working with DX160 seamlessly.

Hi, I just received my dx160 and it sounds fine with my Shure 846. I have tried to flash Fidelizer Purist ROM but I stuck at <fastboot reboot bootloader> I am on a MAC. Do you guys have any idea why? Thanks in advance.

So I've had it for just under a week and just transferred about 200gb of my music to the sd card no problem, went to play it in the hiby app, scanned the card and the screen went blank. Now can't turn on/off at all so no idea what to do with it? Is there a button funding to hard reset? @Paul - iBasso
Just try to hold the power button until it re-starts
