@Paul - iBasso in the next FW please fix hardware PLAY button. When the music is playing and the screen turns off I can pause the music, but cant make it play again with screen turned off. I had to unlock the device, turn screen on and then PLAY button works. Its pretty frustrating. I think I had it on DX150 too. Im using stock player.

If the DX has gone into the sleep mode, you have to use the power button to wake the DX so the button will work.

This topic has been covered many times, you can use the search functions. But simply put, every programs will affect your playback performances, period.

Yep they all actually sound a bit different. Sometimes I like the crispness of Mango, and sometimes I like the more spread out/analog sound of Neutron.

The Bluetooth definitely needs looking into on the Dx160 whilst the sound via wired is extremely good and the screen and dap in general is excellent.
the Bluetooth is poor looses connection just a foot away with slightest movement.
Be it Bluetooth enabled headphones or receivers like Radsone Es100 all of which work excellently via other sources, mobile phone, fiio M6 fiio M11 shanling M5s etc the Ibasso is poor.

Wether this is an isolated issue on a number of Dx160 or wether it can be sorted via firmware or sent for servicing via a UK dealer or dealer in general.

I'm not a fan of this. I'd like basic play/ pause/ skip functions to work with the device in sleep, same as I expect the volume to operate with the screen off.

I want to sell my M6 and buy the new DX160, in the future I would like to buy new and better headphones.
I have iBasso IT01, FLC8S, Sony EX800ST, BLON BL03, KZ ZS10 Pro and Tin T2.
Do you think is a good idea to buy the DX160? I even have a buyer for my M6...

Why don't you post an image (or two) of your amp inputs and we should be able to help you decide.

Does your cable split into two, for the 2 separate xlr inputs? (again show us your cable)

In the meantime do nothing until you are sure.

My amp is cayin IHA-6 and thinking of buying a 4.4mm(male) to 2 3pin xlr cable. Do you think it safe and would work? Sorry i cant paste images as i dont know how
