I bought DX160 primarily to use for Tidal Master, unfortunately it is completely useless it keeps on crashing if you touch screen while playing Tidal. I have done firmware update to latest 1.05.162 I did factory reset few times. I also noticed its wifi connectivity is not stable. Can anyone from iBasso or anyone had similar issue got resolved please Help. Thanks

Keep the screen on. Ibasso's version of android appears to be the earlier version which turns off (or drastically slows down) wifi once the screen goes off.

Thanks! Cassiopeia was the missing piece for me. I've got it setup but it's not all working. It works for the first track that I play but doesn't update when I switch to another track/album.

Also doesn't seem to fully work on UAPP. The track information is correct but it's not loading the album art.

I can only get it to work on the home screen, but it would be great on the lock screen as well.

Not sure what settings I need to change though.

Oh, thats sad. it's working fine with me but i'm using poweramp.

KLWP is for home screen for lock screnn it's KLCK.

im not having any of ur issues. using lurker fw. but i also dont recall my tidal behaving as u stated

For the Tidal, sounds like an install problem or weird conflict. I didn't have any issue with it. I have switch to Amazon music now as I like the selection even better and the sound.

Yes of course. Even if Spotify is not an audiophile source. Some LG phones I think can compete but don't know which ones

So am I right to assume that because the DX160 has got DAC chip and the mobile phone does not so the sound is much better listening on the DX160.

Personally I feel that it's better to my ears just not sure if it's placebo effect.

It's both the DAC as well as the amp stage that makes all the difference.

Well, if the "headsets" are some cheap random sets, and/or the "mobile phone" is an LG with Quad-Dac, you're not going to hear a significant difference.

All of a sudden, my DX160 feels sluggish. Hangs after I next a few songs on Spotify. No other apps open. Using Hiby music also the same. Need to sleep it and wake up then can work a bit. Then hangs again. Have to restart. How come like that? Sigh. Just because I made you sing with a new headphone?

Did you install any new app or did any app auto-update recently?

If you use a Bluetooth headset then no difference, but if you use a quality headset from the 3.5 mm (assuming your phone has a 3.5 mm) DX160 is definitely much better.
