Hello, anyone got any tech spec info of the amp circuit? like what op amps are used...etc?
Have you ever heard the Questyle QP1R / QP2R? I wonder how it sounds compared to them as they are the only non-iPod DAPs I have ever heard.
Why? 6.4Vrms into 32Ohm equal 1280 mWWhere did you get that Jeff, it's not correct about the output voltage.
Yes, the QP1R sounds great with some music, not great with other music. Most of my test playlist sounded great on it, but anything heavier than classic rock didn't sound that great. I have a 127 song FLAC playlist that I use for testing and reviewing and cycle through my LCD2's, Ether2', and SR1's with. I enjoyed the QP1R but to my ears it didn't sound as good as other DAP's in the price range.
that's wrong! you do not understand the meaning of the parametersWhy? 6.4Vrms into 32Ohm equal 1280 mW

I have a QP1r, nice as it sounds the UI makes it cumbersome to use. And no wireless connection. I believe your candidates make a lot more sense (particularly the DX160, if you look at the price).I have been thinking about the DX220, which is in the price range of the QP1R, but the DX160 peaked my interest and it is not in the same price range. Where the DX220 may interest me more is that I can use the Mango OS. I do not need nor want all the apps and capabilities of Android as I always have my smartphone with me anyway. That is what drew me to the QP1R / 2R is that they are players without all the extras. Touch screen would be a huge upgrade, resulting in the interest in the DX220 and DX160 along with the Cayin N6ii.
I just put the parameters (voltage and impedance) in the calculator and that's the result I got. What did I get wrong?that's wrong! you do not understand the meaning of the parameters

Nothing to apologize my friend. You're right, I didn't do the math correctly in my head. Apologies.
