Listening high gain, volume max at 100, no music. No hiss i could tell. Or below my hearing with Andromeda. (4.4mm)

Because with a DX220 you get the option to customize the sound to your particular liking and music genre. You get higher-end components with wider soundstage, more clarity, and better imaging.

Just because one says it "drives them magnificently" does not in any WAY mean that it's in the same league as the flagship.

You need more time on the DX160. It opens up more, gains transparency and dynamics and the soundstage gets larger.

Received my dx160 today, found it crashed ( power off ? ) right after put on the plastic case, and cannot turn on again. That really scares me.
After calming down and removed the plastic case, it can be turned on again, and no more crash happen afterwards.
I can conclude that the plastic case of dx160 is too fit, and keep squeezing the power button and causing the crash

Have been playing the DX160 for 3 days now, I would say the screen is the best in its class (bar farrrrrrr).

In term of SQ, as a previous AK SR15 (same CS43198 DAC) user, they are very different.

The DX160 is way more powerful, there were slight hiss issue even in single end low gain for my Fearless S8F.

Personally, i prefer SR15 in SQ. It feels more warm and organic.

However, DX160 is a more complete package overall (full Android, big screen, USB-C etc.).

Significant price difference, too.

Nothing will go wrong with either of it.

I got to say DX160 has the edge over SR15 with bigger soundstage and a higher level of resolution.
