Anyone using the Hiby Music app with this player? Hiby added MSEB to the stock app, which as a DSP is prob the best you can be using on any player. It’s works really well with the dx150. I’m finding I can really finely tweak the sound to get every drop of potential out of this DAP.

The New Firmware for the DX150 is now up. It has the change log in the download and it supports AMP9! Available at our Download on www.ibasso.com .

Interested in opinions. I'm considering buying a used amp8 for my DX150 only to turn around and sell the entire package. I already have an amp5 and amp7 (the amp7 makes a popping sound in the left channel when music playback starts but is otherwise in great condition). I am the second owner of everything and it's all very clean. Any feedback on whether the amp8 would add to the sale or move the unit faster? I guess my fear is with too much of an accessory package I push my price into the used DX200 range or over a new Fiio M11 etc?

Ordered the AMP9 as well last night. Got the update this morning that it should get to NY before July 4th. Cannot wait! Fingers crossed it doesn't get held up in customs!

Also expecting a Viprati pipe from Italy that day. Looks like it's going to be a *very* relaxing long weekend.

@Paul - iBasso In preparation of the AMP9's arrival, is there software/firmware updates necessary for the DX150? I'm currently on Lurker v2.11.293-L0; thanks in advance.

There is a new firmware out for the DX150 on our site. It has to be used for the AMP9 to work.

Damn, that MangoPlayer menubar icon is so goddamn ugly: the weird pixelated circle next to the volume.
Not sure if it is just a hiccup on my device, but I guess this should be an easy fix for iBasso.

...unless of course, it's meant to be this way...?

I know it's a very very minor thing, but what has been seen cannot be unseen :wink:

(Only posting it since I had my fingers crossed that a FW-update would solve this :p)
