I like the DX150 build more than DX120, but if DX120 really is a lag free device then i'm gonna get the DX120.
The DX120 is not out yet, but if it comes, i can't wait to see UI response side by side with DX150.

Also the DX120 does not have full audio format support spec on product page like DX150 has detailed info.

Excellent! I really wanted to wait for the Shanling M5s but the iBasso DX120 is more and more the player I've been looking for What is the Output Impedance?
I hope there will be a few comparisons to other players soon.

I'm in the same boat, get this or wait for the 5s... Waiting on the output impedance spec myself but I can't imagine ibasso would put something out with anything higher than 2-3 ohms Max. Most likely <1.

same here , i am waiting both but i don't want BT and wifi , i don't use it.....i don't want pay for it , i hope the M5s will sound good and under 400$.....if not i go with the dx120

Most likely not, considering their M3s is almost $300, and M5s is a flagship (adding touch screen w/new OS). Also keep in mind, DX120 is dual uSD vs M5s is single.

Agh, if only the DX120 had Bluetooth as well it would've been a killer value DAP. Still, many people would happily trade Bluetooth for dual card slots, and judging by what's been said so far about the SQ, it looks like it might be a damn good device anyways

If there is no Bluetooth or WiFi, why is there glass back and no full metal body?

Got my order in for this from iBasso, super excited! Ordered a CB12s cable for my it01's at the same time to take advantage of the balanced output on the dx120.

Anyone that has the dx120 already, can anyone compare it with the DX80?

I do not have any balanced cables at the moment so more interested in SE. I will say I am happy to see a separate line out jack and of course 2 card slots.

So tempted... will they be available to buy from a UK dealer soon?

This is just a spec of output impedance (for compatibility with other IEMs and their impedance and crossover design) which is not related to output power. For the output power, DX120 has 2.5mm BAL output rated at 3.6Vrms which translates roughly to 400mW of power with 32ohm load, and 3.5mm SE output rated at 1.8Vrms which translates roughly to 100mW of power with 32ohm load.
