They are under contract not to reveal detailed spec before the Japanese company did. I think the Japanese company is the one that commission iBasso for the DX100 development in the the first place.

The Japanese distributor at least confirms that the DX100 runs Android but the price is still undecided:

GAWD this thing looks good, but I might pick up the Cowon D3 while I wait for the DX100 to materialise (Spring 2012) - and for the first reviews to trickle in.

Hey, take it easy, no need to be nasty. This thread has meandered on and off course for long enough now for it to be left behind just as soon as the DX100 is released, at which point a fresh thread can be started for serious discussion without all the conjecture of the past month, and with no harm done.

I am quite sure that it will easily run in English. The iBasso brand is for foreign markets and represents important sales for the company. (They use the Mini-Audio brand within China.)
