Ibasso Dx100 bugs to fix or features to add : Please tell us what you want to fix or add

One has to really hand credit to iBasso for their willingness to quickly step up to the plate and address the issues reported by early users. There is no doubt that they really want the DX100 to completely meet their design goal and user expectations.

Touching on a charger-related question that was posed to me, Yes, the DX100 can use other 12v chargers as long as there is an adequate output current. The charging circuitry is not in the charger, but in the DX100. Do NOT use the D6 charger, as the charging circuitry is built into the charger.

I agree and I understand that they even will not start taking preorders not until they fix most of the bugs, and that gives you an Idea about the dedication and effort they are putting into this DAP......WE have to wait and see...

Okay, But it wasn't still work.
Do you use Android app such as PowerAMP not an original player?(When I use PowerAMP, It's work.)

It works for me with both players.

I'd be willing to pay a good upgrade price if the dx100 would come along with a usb/dac function. Whenever I am on travel somewhere I can't use my usual gear ofc and having to buy extra mobile usb/dac + amp both in decent quality as well as those cables and having to carry them extra around even though the ibasso dx100 is already capable of delivering a good performance makes it a lot harder. You can't just sit down with your notebook and watch a movie, play some media files you have on the notebook. Yes, you can drag and drop music onto your player to play it, but with video files you can't even do it ...

Am I the only one missing this feature more than anything else?

Any Idea whether the stock charger is a regulated (versus an unregulated) power supply?

I suspect that it is regulated, as it measures 12.24v when unloaded. If it was a unregulated supply, I would expect a much higher no-load voltage.

Why not ask Ibasso?

OK.  This would be important for anyone looking for alternative chargers for the DX100.  I've had bad luck using unregulated supplies with devices that require a regulated one...even if all of the other specifications match.

Not sure if any of you are having this issue either but it seems the ibasso has a problem when charging. Even though it should be finished charging it will continue to charge until you unplug it and then plug it back in (at this point it will show the fully charged icon). This is a potential problem as it could overcharge and destroy the battery. I'm not sure if this is due to having the screen time out set to off or not? But I notice I have more bugs when having the screen timer set. I just manually shut the screen off myself to bypass some of these issues.

I have to admit thought that this battery charges very fast. About 2 hours to full capacity and for 9+ hours of playback I am very happy  in this regard.

Also when the screen is shut off you should be able to adjust the volume with the screen remaining off still. This would greatly improve battery life as there is no reason to have the screen shut on when you just want to adjust the volume from the side buttons...l

Thank Lee, hope this can be addressed to.

1. Tag information from ALAC files is not read correctly. (The Track name is the name of the file and Album name is the name of the folder)
2. Artwork for ALAC files is not displayed.

I believe it's the same as with FLAC files but I just want to add my 2 cents
