Does your device shutdown after the root? Rooted my another way useing the zerg exploit. After that device can never shutdown. Once select shutdown, it will just stuck at the power down menu. Got to hit the reset. Even a hard reset doesn't solve the shutdown issue.

Anyway I flashed back with the FW at iBasso webside.Seems like I have downgraded the firmware since iBasso had not uploaded the v1.0.6.

Mine is fine. Rooted using superoneclick.

Listening to Ozzy on my DX100 at this very moment. Still in a love/hate relationship with my new little friend. The GUI can freeze and behaves irrational sometimes but the sound keeps blowing me away. Am I the only one that prefers the stock player over Poweramp?

IME the W3000ANV and the DX100 are not a good match.

For some reasons, I never had luck with iBasso amps driving Audio-Tech cans and the DX100 is no exception. I have had AD900, A1000X, ESW10JPN and W1000X previously running on the P3+ and P4 and they don't sound good at all. This trend doesn't change with the DX100.

These cans and the D7000 are currently in my sights. I'd probably get the W3000 now except for two things:

1) I think the headband looks goofy.

2) The synergy with the the DX100 is not good?

uelover, can you (or anyone else) expand on this a bit more?

Anyone using the Denons with the DX? Or even just have an opinion about either cans?

Get the Fostex TH900.

I uninstalled PowerAmp pretty quickly, despite loving it on my Android phone. As for the GUI freezes you might want to try a third-party launcher like AWB.

Come on, don't quote my outdated post.

The Final Audio Design Muramasa VIII looks cooler.

I think that the burn-in during the time when I first posted the above until now has helped a lot.

I just tried the W3000 on the DX100 again and the experience is much more positive than the last time I tried it. I think I will need to relabel the pairing of the W3000 with the DX100 from 'not good' to 'good'. I am still finding it a little lean sounding. Let's see if a little more burn-in after a month of use will help =)

The headband looks goofy. I agree. But it is comfortable (for me). I think there are some remarks made about the comfort and fit by many other users on the W3000 thread which might help.

They just finished an important holiday in China, and then there is another one at the end of the month...hopefully both you and Sorensiim will get your UMs back in this window.

Well I have not run into any of those issues. My issue is creating a play list. I know how to add the tracks but I do not know how to play the tracks on my play list.

Those happens when the device is running some background stuffs and thus lags. I find that killing excess application every now and then will eliminate that problem.

When you guys get your Merlins back you'd love this combo. This is my new portable these days - DX100+Merlins.

I am getting my hybrids next week, grey shells with a carbon fiber face plate. The designer was in China on Wednesday and listened to them and has reported back very positively. My 20 drivers, 10 per side are going to be ready after the holidays at the end of the month, so early May.

The DX100 as a standalone player is, I am still of the opinion, better suited to driving cans than IEMs. I have a quite a few lined up

, the FAD being one of them........
