Just received the Beyerdynamic DT1770 Pro . Excellent pairing with the DX100 , In low gain setting this one make the DT1770 sing wonderfully , all my fears are gone now about high impedance headphones with the DX100 . I am a happy men ! Thanks.

The dap that keeps on giving. It is still one of the best sounding daps I have and in areas of transparency, the best.

Firmware v1.2.7 is the most transparent. I really hated 1.4.2 as it added too much bass at the cost of resolution, soundstage and transparency

I agree, the DX100, three years after, is still quite the reference DAP

What did you last do? Try unplug the battery and plug in again then recharge?

Plug the charger into the DX100 and then try a hard reset. That is the reset on the left side by the on off button. You can use a paper clip to lightly push on the reset button in the hole.

I wonder if ph58 has had a problem related to changing the firmware on the DX100. This is probably how mine broke the last time I had to send it back. On that occasion the Dac chip was bust
