Plug the charger into the DX100 and then try a hard reset. That is the reset on the left side by the on off button. You can use a paper clip to lightly push on the reset button in the hole.

. Hi , Paul , good news after hard reset ( more then 30 seconds , normal reset don't work ) it start to run again , but don't play ( several warning like : applications don't load .....) I had to reset several time before it was able to play music normally . Oh! What à night , i hope it will play normally now . Thanks for your help , will let you know if everything's fine . Did you leave ~10% free space on the internal memory? I've noticed lags & freeze-ups if that amount isn't left free. Similarly I don't fill the µSD to the brim.

I forget to mention sometime when I skip forward a song , it happened to play in accelerate, I must turn off , then turn on to get a normal playback . It happens yesterday night , just before the bug . I have problem also with the volume knop , when I press by step to get a louder volume , it go straight to the maximum volume , it bleed my ears .

The "chipmunk" play in accelerated speed bug is when it sometimes hiccups on changing from standard res' to high res'; I haven't had it occur often, but I've found that to change the sample rate converter back & forth sets it back to normal.

I set mine about 230 the last time I pair mine with portable amp last time. I think I get distortion too at max volume, but I cant really sure about that. Mine is set as paperweight now, i take it out occasionally for a quick listen though.

I actually find the headphone out sounds better than the line out. Line out is not as good as dx90.

hi , if you just use it occasioanally (set as paperweight) why don' t you sell it ? You can get a good price , if it is like new .
