on an ipod touch, i do listen to music on my computer, and i got optical out ( been looking at d10) d10 is like 30 bucks more, and at the moment only d10 is available. I would be listening using shure 440's, and also looking for some IEM's that are in the ~0-100 range (just have some 30$ jvc's at the moment, and are always coming off). So, is there any other amp in the ~200 range ( or even better, less), that is better than the d10 in terms of sq gain? also i'd be looking for something that would increase the bass slightly
