Hi All,
I am new to this forum, and I was looking for a recommendation as the title states above. I am very oblivious when it comes to audio and my knowledge is minimal.
I currently own a HD558 and I paired it with an antlion mic that is going through Creative Sound Blaster Z SE PCIe Sound Card. I mainly play FPS games which means I would like to have a sense of direction when it comes to sound and also I occasionally listen to music such as RnB, HipHop, Rap and EDM.
I am from Australia so the prices I listed are in Australian dollars.
Here is a list of headset/headphones that I am currently looking at:
- Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro $210
- Beyerdynamic MMX300 $349 (RRP$ 449) One of the stores is having a bundled discount which is $349 for the headset plus mouse and mousepad.
- Beyerdynamic Tygr 300r bundle $399
I have heard that the Audeze Mobius are great out of the box but they are way too expensive at $699.
At this point it is more of a I want to get a new pair of headphones rather than I need to because there is no problem with my current HD558. It is just that I was browsing and came across the MMX300 bundles.
Please let me know your thoughts and any other recommendations are appreciated.
