The MX510 is a great mouse. The new MX and VX mice fron logitech are better in my opinion, but on the cheap, the MX510 is the best.

I got my MX510 today...WOW!!! I love it!

EDIT: bad news...mouse button one works sometimes, most of the times it doesn't.

I had that problem with the right mouse button on my G5 (it was refurbished though). I sent to back to the seller on Amazon.co.uk and got a replacement which has been working perfectly since. The problem is caused by the contact pad wearing out through continued clicking.

I can vouch for Logitech MX1000. Iv'e had mine for 18 months or so and never had an issue, all the extra buttons are very handy when they are programmed how you want, I can minimize, maximise, close windows, go forward or back through browser windows, page up, page down etc. Fit's my hand perfect, very comfy. Battery lasts weeks and recharges quick.

If my dog ate it, (entirely possible) I would buy the same one.

I have the MX 3000 keyboard too, ok, but the keys don't have nice a feel as some other keyboards, sometimes they feel slightly sticky, like there is some friction there, but they never fail to work.

I haven't tried any of the new top end mouses though.

I sent a message to the eBay seller, she said to DL and use MouseWare 9.80. If that didn't fix the problem, she would send me another one.

GUH! the replacement MX510 had a faulty wheel mouse, it was "skipping" (or not scrolling down) all the time. They didn't have any more MX510's for another replacement.

But they had MX518's, and they were $5 cheeper! I hope to get that replacement this week.

In order starting from Best, list the Razer mice.

Don't buy any mice from bestusaprice4u ALL OF THEIR MICE are poorly "refurbished".

the new logitech with the two grip types looks pretty slick, but I like the g15 revision better

I also got the ram info for my copper head...
