Title says it all. Also a side note, can i get away with no amp, or is that just crazy talk?
I like bass-are Denon D2000's the way to go for <$300?

I bought some D2000s to test out, and the bass is very good and boomy. I'm having some issues with the highs, however, as I find them fatiguing and sibilant. You can get them for $190-200 by calling J&R. I think they sound pretty good without an amp, but having one wouldn't hurt.

I love bass and the D2K's worked out great, no regrets at all.

After reading and researching them further, im pretty much set on them now
