So guys, I just had that moment happen when you hear it for the first time. I just got in a pair of ATH A700 from at to use as a reference headphone for my gaming headset reviews. Anyway, was listening to a song with them and I thought someone was trying to break in my house and I jump up, pulled off the headphones and turned around. Nope.... I heard something I never heard before in the recording.  Sigh. Re enactment below. I guess I'm on my way....

I had about the same experience some months ago with a AD700. And some weeks earlier, with an AKG K242HD, I suddenly thought I had left the speakers on and blasting loud music through the house, probably irritating my neighbors. But when I ripped the phones off my head, I realized it was indeed the headphones making such a spacious impression.
