Is there any reason the Denon DNHP1000 don't get mentioned much anywhere? I've been looking at them and they seem like good headphones.
I couldn't find many reviews on this headphone

The whole HP series isn't really talked about in general. People tend to talk about the " Common" Phones the most.
For the 1000's, they are average at best. BUT!!! I'd look at the HP700 myself. Never talked about anymore. Right at the same price as the M50s and to my ears sound better ( With a pad swap)..
Head to head with the AHD7000: That's saying A lot. Do some things even better
