the srh840 would be a better choice for you i guess? its sound is quite analytical, but just not so portable

Denon AH-D1100 ? Freaking awesome after burn in. Super comfy, great portability :)

 Take a look at these charts:

The AH-D1100 is no where near neutral ( analytical ).  It has very large 100Hz bump up.  Also note the 300Hz square wave response.  The AH-D1100 is one of the WORST headphones to reproduce harmonics of 300Hz with.  That means just about everything audible has some serious issues.

SRH840

Both the HD-25-1-ii and SRH840 blow the AH-D1100 out of the water both for accuracy and neutrality.

I'm actually now even considering the m80s into the mix...
However, I've determined that I can't go wrong with any of the three choices.
