I'm running the TE5B with the LabKable Draco Hybrid 2.5mm balanced and it all sounds spot on to me. The vocalist sounds like they are standing right on my toes! I guess the same can be said for the CE-5.

Have a CE5 coming on Monday. Excited to try it out. I just want to have another nice IEM to go with my IER-Z1R so I can mix things up sometimes. Also useful because I'll be using IEMs at home a fair amount during the summer when the AC is going.

I own both and the CE-5 is a nice complement to the Z1R. It will have more bass slam and more sparkly highs. I love them both, but the CE-5 is just all out fun. Several folks have mentioned the thin mid-range, but I've never found it to be a problem (or entirely true for that matter). Enjoy the CE-5!

Hey Dude! For CE-5 I like a slightly warmer cable, so right now I have it with a PW "The Gold" 24pe. A gold plated silver cable. For the Z1R, Labkable Pandora

Do you run the ES100 straight off your phone? Have you tried the BTR3 or smaller two way DAPs (M0/R3)?

I do run the ES100 straight off my iPhone. I don't have the BTR3/XB10, and I generally don't like using DAPs, since I figure the ES100/Hugo 2 gives me everything that a standalone DAP can.

I don't have a Mojo, but I'd imagine that the CE-5 would be fine with it as well. Doesn't seem to me like a particularly power-hungry IEM.
