Chord use another English company to make the labels, when they received them to put on the black Hugo's and some silver they were faulty so the other company had to make more for them hence the delay, the sales manager told me this at Hifi lounge
Thanks for that. It’s a shame that the information has come via a 3rd party.

Paul is headphone mode completely independent from the other modes ie if you plug in headphones coming from either DAC or amp mode headphones are just as loud?

When I plug them in it goes to amp and it starts on red so you don't blow your headphones, mate I had to fanny around with the hugo 2,also when I was in dac mode with the hugo 2 I had to adjust the volume wheel in dac mode to get it in the light blue to match the volts to my av amp, it's set with the hugo TT 2, turn the volume nothing happens and that's what I want

Hey Triode I was gonna ask you a question and I'm gutted I've forgot what it was I was gonna say it was important

Do what I do, stop trying to remember and it will pop into your head.

It should goto headphone mode not amp mode after plugging in headphones and you should have full volume control with headphone mode. DAC mode is fixed at 2.5v yes but it is nothing to do with headphone mode it's for amps.

It's fixed 2.5v out in DAC mode Paul. But you said when you plug in headphones it goes to amp mode and this has been confirmed by me and others as being wrong as it should go to headphone mode automatically. Can you check again. Adjusting volume from low red in amp mode just after plugging in headphones is just plain wrong. DAC mode is not meant for headphone use either.
