Only the best for you.
https://www.tealyra.eu/matcha-tea/

I think that I would have to start with the 'everyday' quality level, and work my way up.
Will you be ordering @Amberlamps ?

I will add this to this Tea thread. Even though I don’t drink tea nowadays as I prefer coffee, but.....I would have a cup of tea if the circumstances were right.

Also, every couple of years or so, I do have a cuppa, but that would usually be when I’m out and they don’t have coffee.

If I do drink tea, it is usually tetley tea, but the dude who posted that green cup of tea in a glass, I would love to try that out as it looks delicious.

Even when traveling to the swankiest of dining establishments my wife always carried Tetley tea bags. Venti pike black for myself.

I should maybe resist this time around, we´re way OT here, but FYI what goes into "Tetley" and most other teabags is referred to as TEADUST and a lot of it is often swept up from the floor once proper tea has been graded at all Tea factories I´ve been to and they are many, both in India and Sri Lanka and Malaysia.
Trust me I know!
The lowest of low grade Tea.
Add milk and you have either dirt cheap Indian Chai or a typical British "cuppa".
Pick your poison, or drink real tea instead!
It is also a fact that a certain mr Lipton made a BIG fortune from selling that dust in little bags.

But to get back to the topic of Chord dacs and SQ, my overnight music loving guest who has now gone back home, graded my Qutest/HMS and electrostatic speakers VERY highly indeed on SQ.

He found my HIFI system so realistic, that when I played a cd with piano improvisations against sounds of the rainforest in Costa Rica he not only growled at some completely invisible scarlet macaws and howler monkeys intruding into our room, he even barked at them as a clear indication they had no business whatsoever flying around between my speakers!
In fact ,a very clear message to sod off!
In my earlier post I forgot to mention that he is a Jack Russel terrier and listens to the name Whisky!
On walks you can quess what I call him.
Come to think of the SQ of my system having seen an old windup HMV gramophone as recently as last week I was reminded that dogs are quite easily fooled and so are many audiophiles.

Cheers CC

Tea, Scotch, audio.... all a matter of preference.

. Whereas some of the noise issue with the M-Scaler is I think around 1MHz to 2MHz. … The iFi PowerStation has passive noise cancellation above the low MHz range.

Low MHz range is mitigated internally by the MScaler, it is the 1 to 2.5Ghz that is problematic.

I am thinking of “upgrading” from my SE cables to balanced XLRs to connect the HTT2 to my Stax amplifier. Apparently the hot/cold pins are wired differently on the HTT2 and my amp but I have been told this makes absolutely no difference, can anyone kindly confirm/explain please?
Are you sure? TT2‘s 3pin XLR has standard wiring, Stax should not be different.

Anyway, it is not a problem to swap “hot” and “cold” in balanced connection. You probably would not notice any difference. Just ensure that “ground” is on Pin 1 and “hot/cold” pins are swapped same way on both channels.

I have ordered a new pair of headphones which have cables ending in balanced male XLR 3-pin connectors (didn't arrive yet). I don't want to destroy such expensive devices. Is it right that such XLR female-to-female joiners (NEUTRIK NA3FF-B) will correctly connect Hugo TT2 and the headphones? The joiners have the standard layout on every end: ²₃¹

I use the same connectors with my Phonitor 2 so I can connect my headphone to balanced out but haven’t tried it yet with my TT2. Should work just fine!

My first year in college my roommate opened a plastic bag and took a whole tea leaf out of it and made tea, I was awake all night. He slept like a baby.

I like tea this time of year, but I don't think I brew it right or need better tea. My A&K just got back from service so will be doing extended listening session into the TT2 recreating my playlists.

You sure it was tea that kept you up all night ?

As the words, college, room mate and awake all night and room mate slept like a baby, point in a direction I don’t want to remember, maybe that tea was Rohypnol ?

It does do some strange things to folk, as I got told I was petting a dog ornament and asking what its name was, the bloody thing was my ornament. :anguished:

Yeah “Just say no to tea”,
