Why do i feel like im getting deja vu... have you asked this before?

I've asked this before and now i'm asking it again and so? A second opinion never did any harm now did it.

Thanks for the pics fixated. How did the addition of hms sound to you? Some detail would be great.

January 2018, the batteries failed in my Hugo 1 and the 2 was on sale at £1400. I decided to demo it and heard clear benefits, but decided to hold off and go for a bigger step up to TT2.

Now I've committed all my budget on TT2 and I find out everyone has been saying it's better to have a H2 with the Mscaler. Life can be frustrating. :smirk:

Somehow my small violin just doesn’t want to play. You made a fine decision. Add mscaler later

Yeah I've had (still have) plenty of time to consider cancelling TT2 and going for H2 +Mscaler instead, but it's not happening. TT2 is my dream and I'm going to have it and enjoy it! :grinning:

I was just observing the irony of how saving for one big upgrade to get the best value hasn't necessarily worked out, if you believe what some say.

I am happy for you UK friend :)
At least you have bought a high end DAC made in Great Britain that's both unique in sound and design.
Enjoy is sound in good health for a very long time. * Untill TT3 comes out *

I think you’ll get more immediate gratification from tt2. It’s the engine room ! Mscaler is the icing on the mixed metaphoric cake.

I'm hoping, if I start saving now, I might just acquire Mscaler 2 with 2M taps before THAT becomes obsolete!
It won’t be long before someone mentions daves transparency.

It won’t be long before someone mentions daves transparency.

Why would we do that because it only makes non Dave owners feel dissatisfied and hard done by. By the way, did I mention the Dave superior transparency?

I’m only joking - I’m glad dave owners enjoy their kit.

How do you know a DAVE owner is hanging around your hi fi forum?

Wait 5 minutes and they’ll talk to you about transparency
A gentleman would never discuss another dacs superior transparency, in said dacs thread. A little uncouth.
