I honestly can't think of any headfi chord contributor that isn't ok. A great collection of music lovers and tech wizards. Sometimes differing sense's of humour need allocating for but it's all good. I've spent alot on chord gear and i would feel cut off from here if i stopped visiting headfi because in my world no one shows any real interest in my dac and mscaler.

I was in two minds whether my initial joke was in good taste, or might offend @musickid, or might be considered padding the thread with OT.
Once i saw which way the responses were going, I just felt that it was better to delete my post.

Slightly off topic: would a silver hms and a black tt2 be ok from an aesthetic perspective? i don't like the black hms i have the silver. When i can afford the TT2 again here the silver doesn't really appeal but the black one does. That would mean a non matching system?

I would stick with one colour, loaned a friend’s hms over the weekends to get a good few hours of testing and took a snapshot for reference. Hope you don’t mind the quality. only have my phone to take photos!
