Even with unchanged hardware they can recode certain chips. I know they did with Dave. Doesn't sound differently but can upgrade some aspects nonetheless. Don't know if this explains this bzz or no bzz

Hello head-fi tt2 users
If you have a case or any parts from a TT2 which you could sell me - - please write to me - I will be grateful for any help
Also, if you have a TT2 and you can disassemble it just to show what's inside - I will also be very grateful to you
For now I know for sure that - I don't have a screen and an IR receiver module from the remote control
I would be very grateful if someone showed me their working TT2 inside, namely what's inside under the plastic cover on the left (IR module I think)
and maybe if @Rob Watts please tell what screen is used in TT2 - maybe some SPI TFT screen will work or maybe help with pinout..
I will be glad to accept any help..

I would day that there is just antena for bluetooth, nothing more. You can see single cable with ipex connector connected to BT daughter board.while I'm trying to find at least one photo of what's inside this plastic cover
if anyone has such a photo - I'd be very grateful
the encoder, as I understand it, is the same as in hugo2
the case and everything else is not a problem
the only problem is the screen, I still don't know the pinout
well, and this remote control module in the photo is also full of mysteries

you are certainly confusing me.UPD
i got 15v 4a third-pray power supply
looks like I have news
it turns on and the computer sees it via usb
it flashes LEDs as usual
but there is no sound
maybe i need to select the usb input
but since I don't have a screen and a remote control I don't know how to do it
and also since I don't have an encoder I can't adjust the volume
I think next week I'll try to continue doing something with it..
good questionyou are certainly confusing me.
if you only have a TT2 board, is this a board from a working TT2, or a board sourced from a service centre, which may contain some faulty/damaged components?
You can use the xlr, but you have to make them yourself, or maybe someone here know where to buy them custom made.Hi everyone!
Im trying out the TT2 for ZMF Caldera and I’m quite impressed by the tt2 so I think I will pull the trigger
I could wish for some more power to get a little more bottom end, I’ve tried the 1/4 headphone jack in the front but would it be possible to use the xlrs in the back to get more power and should I get an adapter then for two males to one female?
How is the new Alto amp, would that be a good option other wise? It’s abit over my budget to as the Alto but if that would be a fantastic combo I would consider it.
I do have a tube amp already that I will be using for jazz and instrumental musik but I would like to have a punchy and fast ssd amp as well for listening to electronic musik.
Ok, I see, would be interesting to try. maby still better to get a dedicated amp that has a bit more power. You can use the xlr, but you have to make them yourself, or maybe someone here know where to buy them custom made.
Tt2 is amazing dac, add a mscaler and it is heaven, you want more power add a burson and use the tt2 as dac.
Tt2 is very versatile, headphone amp, dac, pre amp
The amplifier must be selected for headphones. TT2 powerful and clear enough for most headphones.Ok, I see, would be interesting to try. maby still better to get a dedicated amp that has a bit more power.
How does it work, can it have both the xlr and rca connected at the same time if I’m using two different amps?
The Simaudio Moon 430HA has a lot of power and is very fast and dynamic. It matches well with Chord DACs that I’ve tried with it and is very transparent.Chord Alto, anyone here who have tried it and can share some impressions, is it good value and does it work well with the TT2?
What are you’re other recommendations for ssd amps if speed and punch would be important?
