I just joined the ranks of the TT2 brethren and loving every second of it. When I was first researching DACs and saw this pop up with its price, I just laughed. Fast forward and I end up getting it anyway, haha. I am coming from the Ifi Zen stack, so the jump in improvement is a no brainer, but still... wow :D

@bpcans and what beautiful journey it will be... while blowing more hard earned money just like you've said :)

I've just returned from 10 days travel (yup, people can still and must travel even during covid times) where I had only Chord Mojo with me. While I still love Mojo the first thing I've done when I sat at my desk was to turn on Hugo TT2 and I've been listening to it even after I've finished my work to late evening, enjoying every bit of it so much.

Try adding them on separately to see how they impact on the system first. i.e. add the SRC.DX first and have a listen.... then add the cables. I was very surprised by how much difference the SRC.DX made!

I just posted this in the LCD-5 forum, but I do get a hum from the TT2 while my LCD-5 is connected (stock 1/4' cable). Plugged in my PC38X and there's no hum, so it's just with the LCD-5.

Anyone on here run into this?

So.... I believe I've found a 'work around' for the humming between the TT2 and LCD-5. Locate a good quality phono cable. Plug one end into the TT2 White Phono socket. Important.... Plug the other end into an available phono plug of an audio item that is properly grounded. This should work OK.

The hum 'may' move along the line of audio products. If you now touch the MScaler it may hum. But.... it's rare that it is physically handled on a regular basis. At least one can enjoy the TT2 and MScaler without any humming going on.

Pretty sure mine is a grounding issue since it hums while nothing else but the LCD5 is plugged in. I’ll be grounding it on Sunday and see what happens!

Nope from me. Already tried it on several places as well (friend's homes and even on audio exhibition), no hum ever detected with LCD-5.

I remember reading something about weird LCD-5 noises in the thread for that headphone. Could it be the same issue?
