Those stock cables can be improved quite significantly @varadero xl1000v

I do not want to believe that Chord gives bnc cables that are not capable of highlighting the differences, and the user will have to buy but to hear them! No I do not want to believe that! Those stock cables can be improved quite significantly @varadero xl1000v
How do you think it would be better to do this? With the streamer Auralic G 1 and the roon, or only with the Nuc i7 8gen and the players of Tidal, qobuz? Should streamer and roon have to leave the chain, or not?Let us know what you think after one week of listening!
Ok... but they can be noticeably improved.I do not want to believe that Chord gives bnc cables that are not capable of highlighting the differences, and the user will have to buy but to hear them! No I do not want to believe that!
I’d use the Aries if that’s what you intend to use. I use an Aries for streaming Qobuz and the G1 is a great bit of kit.How do you think it would be better to do this? Sounds unusual ... maybe start over and just connect CD player to the MScaler and just the dual BNC to the TT2 and then try going throughI thought about it and did it. From the white light, I went to the red, but there was no change. Nowhere. I also disconnected the bnc and connected the optical fiber. And there the same, from 44.1 to 196khz. Again no change.
I'm very sorry, I do not know what else to try. In tt2 I have XFD 0, and filter 1 ..
That's strange. You've got the cables connected correctly between the M-Scaler and TT2 and not crossed over or something?Good morning Guis.
Returning the MScaler is the easiest! But I totally believe in Chord products and that's why I gave so much money to buy my equipment.
I continued my tests and found the following: when I used one bnc, (I removed the second one from Mscaler), then the sound changes. I understand it clearly. The OP SR function of the remote control, or from the same button on the body of the device, works normally. With sampling up to 384 KHz of course.
This does not happen when I put the second bnc.
Does this help you guess something?

I do not use cd player, only streaming services (tidal, qobuz). The bnc cables are as described, bnc 1》 bnc 1 in tt2, and bnc 2》 bnc 2 in tt2. They are correct..Sounds unusual ... maybe start over and just connect CD player to the MScaler and just the dual BNC to the TT2 and then try going through
the Sample rate colours again ...
I only have the Qutest DAC and Mscaler and the difference from red to white is really obvious especially with acoustic instruments ....
edit:
when you connect dual BNC make sure you connect #1 to #1 and #2 to #2 ... hope it works out for you ...

Try each cable in single BNC mode ?Hi griff500.
What could be wrong? M scaler bnc 1 was connected to tt2 bnc 1, and Mscaler bnc 2 was connected to tt2 bnc 2. The only thing I could guess is that the cables are damaged, but I do not think that happens either ..
Jaster, please, I do not understand what you are trying to tell me. Can you repeat in other words?Try each cable in single BNC mode ?
maybe just one input to the Mscaler for now then ...
Just in case a cable is a problem ... try one cable from BNC 1 to 1 and see if it works ok, then try the other cable 1 to IJaster, please, I do not understand what you are trying to tell me. Can you repeat in other words?
οκ. understand..Just in case a cable is a problem ... try one cable from BNC 1 to 1 and see if it works ok, then try the other cable 1 to I
if they both work ok then no problem with cables ...
Definitely try each cable in each position so you can confirm each cable is working and there are no issues with each connector, although the fact that you got the blue light in the TT2 would indicate that a fully upscaled signal was being received...Hi griff500.
