so i head that the new srh 440s i got have some solid bass and i wanna know how great it is
 
anyone know any songs i can listen to to really see what these cans can do?

The SRH440 aren't famous for solid bass. Imo it's quite rolled-off, a PX100 has way more bass (quantitatively).
 
As for testing very deep bass reproduction capabilites, try: Bass Mekanik - Night Bass

search up, "Bass Tests," some songs include:

-I Love Big Speakers
-Ultimate Subwoofer Test

Either of these are by THX, to test the bass on home theaters.

They also test for distortion, and if the phones bleed into the midrange, in which, I would return the headphone without hesitation
if the case is severe.
