Am I crazy for thinking of doing this.  I just got the BUDA and UDAC, and the cardas cable that works with the Senn HD650s.  I like the D7000 much more and would like to make that balanced.  Should I just send it in or use the cardas balanced cable that the Senn's have?
 
Has anyone done this?  Is it hard to do?

Should be simple to do.  The denon d7000s are already dual entry headphones, so there should be no connection between the two sides (you might want to check to make sure).  Therefore if you don't care about keeping your original cord you can technically cut off the current termination and reterminate into a balanced configuration without having to recable unless you wanted to.  The two - terminals should be connected and probably are white colored.  You should just check which is right and which is left and mark it for future reference
