Just traded my ATH-ESW9 for my friend's T70 a few months since he said he really needs something portable. I noticed that these headphones lack texture and bass details, but when I press them against my ears, they sound like a totally different headphone. The bass suddenly become really detailed and the mids have a much stronger textural feeling to it. Wonder if there's anyway I could make it sound that way without constantly pressing the headphones against my ears.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Thanks for the advice, but I'll pass, these phones already heat up quite fast. I was originally planning on using it as a closed HD800jr when my family is asleep.

IF YOU STILL HAVE THEM, i HAVE SEEN STUDIO MUSICIANS USE A BLACK RUBBER BAND ABOUT 2 INCHES WIDE AND 1/16 INCH THICK THAT FIT OVER THE PHONES AND PUSH THEM ON THE EARS. NOT SURE HOW COMFORTABLE THIS IS AND WHERE TO FIND IT. TRY GUITAR CENTER OR SAM ASH.
