Ringing is usually caused by a bad fit or seal (I get it on the MEE A151; only IEMs so far that do this to me).  Normally, I recommend playing around with tips to get rid of it (as you need a good seal).  Well, you have customs.  I'd contact the company that made the customs for you and see what they can do.

Use sound canceling IEMs, you know the type that cancels out all ringing out. OR better yet, find equivalent material played back on a cheap synthesizer designed to imitate a ringing piano.

(Now I am being serious) Are you sure its not in the recording? Sometimes ringing or subtle decay is a hallmark of good audio and you happen to have super sensitive ears..

I think my customs being out of phase are causing the problem.  Were they suppose put the transducers in phase?
