I bought a pair of RS1 long time ago for a very good price and kept them in my closet but I didn't really use them until today ( I have two pairs of RS1).I noticed the screening part that touches the ear is a little clogged up with sweat I believe which is nasty. I could poke holes with a sewing needle but is there a better way to clean it off? Chemical solutions?

This is just an example of the part I am talking about, I did not take this picture.

Those are only a few of the spots, there are a lot more.As you can imagine it's a little gross.

Go get a cheap brush at the hardware store. You should be able to find one well under a dollar; I've gotten ones for 20-30 cents at Home Depot that work. Take some scissors and cut the bristles down to about an inch. The brush will be nice and stiff now. Use the trimmed brush to remove the dried stuff. It should flake off. Then I'd use a cotton ball or paper towel with rubbing alcohol to give it a cleaning. It should be fine after that.
