Where? I pay 2.57 at the Arco on Prairie in Torrance (just up from the refinery). P.S. Since I live right next to an Exxon/Mobil refinery, I should be able to buy my gas at cost......durn it.

I've never understood why you guys call a liquid "gas"?

I use diesel and in Sydney...

1 litre of Diesel is AUD$1.24 / US$.97 and fuel prices are on their way up...

I think that makes it...

US$3.67 per US gallon.

$2.96 US a gallon (vancouver, Canada) . Across the border, 10 mins away, its $2.40

Is that a U.S. gallon vs. an imperial gallon? If so, it would make the actual price difference that much less.

1 gallon [Imp.] = 1.2009499 gallon [US, liquid]

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 0.8326742 gallon [Imp.]

1 liter = 0.2641721 gallon [US, liquid]

1 liter = 0.2199692 gallon [Imp.]

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3.7854118 liter

1 gallon [Imp.] = 4.54609 liter

If you call petrol "gas" then what do you call gas, as in LPG gas. Quite a few cars, and pretty much all taxis, run on gas (LPG) over here. Gas is so much cheaper than petrol that I wonder why all cars don't run on gas.
