I've know about Head-Fi for awhile now but just started to really get into it this last month and since then I've spent way to much on audio equipment in just 2 weeks.  It started with the Ety HF5's and my Cowon i10 which was the best of both I've had.  Since then I've got the TF10's, ProSound ClarityOnes, Fiio amp, and the Panasonic RP-HTF600-S.  Now to some people that might not be much though for me spending about $600 on audio equipment is a lot.  So to the people of Head-Fi I thank you because my music has never sounded so good

$35 Klipsch Image One and $95 Kilpsch X10: I only found out about these because of Head-Fi
$70 AKG Q460: I wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't for the knowledge I found at Head-Fi

i went looking for 50$ In-ears then found head-Fi. Ended up buying sum Sennheiser IE8's now im buying sum Custom IEM's and next is a desk AMP... Damn Head-Fi. why?!

Ya I just bought a new AT A900X and a New EX600.. Out $500 on one earphone and one headphone? Very nice!

I was looking at buying the HD650's last month, but instead I am going to put in an order for the Corda Classic+stagedac+t1. a year ago I do not think I would ever be spending what I am spending, but it seems that I can also spend much much more.

I realize that "way too much" is relevant to a persons financial position but in comparison to other hobbies like golf, cars, collecting art, antiques...etc., headphone audio really isn't that bad.

Yea but when you tell most people how much you spend on headphones or IEM's (still called ear buds to no audiophiles) they think your crazy at least thats what they say to me.
