Actually, anyone who has over 2,500 probably doesn't have to hear "'Round Midnight" ever again—unless, of course, they really want to. With volume comes choices.

I just counted 601. That's between Vinyl/CD/SACD/Mp3/FLAC. That's actually a lot less than I thought. It seems like I have a lot, but I guess not. The thing I love about jazz is: most of my music is by people who we have all heard of (Coltane, Davis, Monk, Adderley, Weather Report, Brown, Rollins, etc).

I love jazz, I have my whole life, but as a poor university student I can only afford to fit into the 11 to 50 category for now. That said, I hope to upgrade that when I have some money to spend on it. I really love Lionel Hampton, he's who I currently find myself turning to most often, especially the album he did with Dexter Gordon, a very good album if you ask me.

Now for Jazz fusion, That I have quite a bit more of.

I used to have the soundtrack to that movie and it was god but no longer have it. Dexter Gordon gave a great performance for someone who is not an actor by trade.
