How many headphones do you *actually* use?

Two: one for the left ear and one for the right ear

j/k

But truly, right now two: KSC-35's (main) and Shure E3c's.
I own four, but the other two are sleeping in my Gringots vault

(Also have cheapo Panasonics which I shoudn't even mention, have only used those just in case for testing the Dynahi before using "real" headphones with it. Also, recently got the Ipod Mini which came with the buds, but don't use the Ipod buds at all)

Only one pair at a time.

This is an interesting thread and a good question. I mostly only use two:

DT531 at home, and V6 for field recording and computer.

I'm very proud that I forced myself to sell my A500's, but I can't quite make myself sell the little-used KSC35's yet. They sound just so darn GOOD for $25!

This month I only listened through the K1000 and a borrowed HE 60.
And through a HE 90 and an Omega II at a mini-meet.
And a Stax Lambda for 10 minutes.
The Lambda sucks, comparatively.
Fortunately it's quite easy to sell.

3 each week - SR125's for home and studio time, E3's with Ipod, and sometimes with KSC 35's. two's fine but canal's are hard if you're interacting with folks...plus, I want an open sound after some time with canal's and vice versa...35's are good for walkin' the dog or hangin' in the garden-time...not as demanding as my E3's I guess.

While at the computer, communicating with Head-Fi, etc., I split time about equally between a K1000, and a K340. Then, for critical listening, it's an R10. Sometimes I also listen to an RS-1, but less than to the others. When in libraries, I use an ety ER4P/S. So, it's five headphones.
