how do you carry your iem?

i have a spare shure e2c carrying case, which i've used on almost every iem i've had the opportunity to try. it seems to work really well on almost all iems with exception of the e500 and the short/long cord connectors.

Like feh1325 and melomaniac mentioned earlier, I use the rectangular Ety zippered-pouch that usually comes with their IEMs. I wrap my Shure E500 around a couple of fingers and place 'em in the Ety pouch. I use another Ety pouch to keep my Yuin PK2 with room to spare for a 2-Gen Shuffle.

If I'm carrying my IEMs they're in my ears. When I reach my destination I'll temporarilly store them in their Westone Case. If I need to take them out of my ears when carrying them (e.g. to talk with someone) the conversation is brief - they can dangle over my ears (they're UM2s that I wear over the ears in any case) until I put them back in.

I also use this same pouch to carry my new Ety ER20 earplugs.

I just leave them dangling from my neck.

All (amp, player, iem's) in one small Nike bag.

Pelican 1040 Micro Case.

Holds the e4s. Unused Black Foamies. Cleaning stick thingy. 80G ipod and even a SIK din if i'm listening through speakers while at work.

Yeah, its big and bulky, but it commands a bit of "I'm serious about listening when I listen to Lisa Loeb."

I love it when she breathes deeply.

And now you can add Gina Villalobos to "the list." I love the way her voice breaks over her lyrics like the tide over the rocks that line my sea of existance.

For longer time storage outside home I use the UE clam with my TF10's. (1+ hr)
For shorter periods I usually just pop them out or turn off the music if I need to hear something.

At home I just put it in the larger roadie case that came with it, in the foam cutout for the iPod.
You will never see me wrap these things around my iPod.
