Hi guys! First off, I want to say hi. I'm new here as you can tell. So basically, I have love for house music. I am starting to delve into music production, and DJing as well. I hold the members on this forum in high respect because I know you guys know your stuff. So I was hoping you guys could help me out with finding a very versatile, hifi headphone that would meet my needs: 60% listening, 30% DJing, %10 music production. I would be listening to these through the latest generation iphone 3Gs. If I must though, I would purchase a headphone amplifier. Thanks guys!

Thanks for the reply! However, I think those are a bit beyond my budget. Im a college student, so I definitely prefer to be in the $100 range.

The HD555s are nice, but they wouldn't be that useful for you since they are open type headphones, not so good for DJing. As for the Sony V700s, I've never heard them myself but they are very popular phones for DJs, so you should go listen to them yourself in a shop.
