Homemade Computer Speakers

Hi, I have a pair of seven ohm bookshelf speakers and I wanted to turn them into computer speakers. The speakers need speaker wires to work and I wanted to terminate the two speakers to either USB or 3.5 mm headphone jack. What would be the best way to do this and drive the speakers at the same time? Thanks!

You can't re-terminate them to USB or 3.5mm and plug them right into your computer. They need an amplifier (and probably a pre-amplifier too, unless you plan on using the computer for this role). So find one that accepts whatever input you want to use; or that can be converted to such.
