i tried doing exactly what hifiman says to do, it says its updating firmware, after i remove the usb cable, i reboot the device, and its still saying v.11 not v.12
 
any ideas? this is the 8gb slim

You can try i now have a hm602 and when i tried downloading v0.10 my volume pot was very low and very distorted. I asked hifiman about it and they said i would have to farther contact their technical department.

Alls i jave to say is if you do upgrade make sure you have the old firmware you currently have now on hand.

I did upgrade and it's now has warmer sound. Also treble is better I guess. :3

I wish i could test it but for some reason i cannot get it to load right or something i dont know whats going on
