Yep! I listen to it louder than any other headphones I’ve auditioned since it such a treat that it gives you a live presentation when you crank it up loud!
Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but when I do the math on 60Ω and 83 dB sensitivity, I get power needed as 5 watts and 17 volts. That's a lot of power needed! However, some of my Head-Fi buddies have confirmed this is not the case in real practice. For example, I was told the Woo Audio WA22 (1.5 watts) can drive the Susvara to proper listening levels. I'm concluding that *maybe* the math does not dictate real-life experience.
In the guitar playing realm, tube power amps are about 3-4x "as loud" per watt as a solid state amp. An Ampeg SVT Classic at 300W tube puts out as much grunt as 1200W solid state, or so the story goes. Perhaps there's something to it.
But hey, people who use those amps spend $40 on 25-foot cables to carry the signal of magnets and wrapped wires.
What’re you even asking about? This is as vague as it gets. Technicality? Presentation? Ergonomics? Costs/performance? Requirements? They have 2
Different presentations of sound so that part is personal preference
