Will the XLR out from DAVE allow use of the DAVE’s remote control for volume? Can both the RCA out and the XLR out be connected at the same time to two different amps if one is switched off?

Will the XLR out from DAVE allow use of the DAVE’s remote control for volume? Can both the RCA out and the XLR out be connected at the same time to two different amps if one is switched off?Three things come to mind:
One is to look into Goldpoint (https://www.goldpt.com/). I'm not sure he offers an RCA A/B switch box exactly, but I do remember he does offer an XLR version of this, so presumably he could make a custom build for RCA if he doesn't already. Prices are expensive though.
A cheep alternative is to use a $50 Schiit Sys (passive preamp), with volume set to max ('unity gain'). The Sys is supposed to be used with 2 sets of RCAs going "in" and one set of RCAs going "out", but it can be hooked up to do the reverse (1 input and 2 outputs), and it works just fine like that. I used it this way for a time, and have read of other users doing so as well, with good results.
The last and most obvious is of course is to use the XLR-outs from the DAVE to the RAAL, unless there's some particular reasons why you're not able to.
You should be able to connect RCA and XLR to different amps simultaneously. For definitive answers, perhaps consult the manual or take it to the DAVE thread. Will the XLR out from DAVE allow use of the DAVE’s remote control for volume? The previous poster's suggestion notwithstanding, and since you asked me directly, let me give you my reply, in place, here in the Susvara thread:Will the XLR out from DAVE allow use of the DAVE’s remote control for volume? The DAVE's digital volume controls the RCA and XLR outputs equally. Both amps can definitely be powered on and utilized at the same time, or one or the other can be turned off.
I'm almost always using the RCA and XLR outputs from the DAC at the same time to drive two amps (on the DAVE for the last three years, as well as a couple others before and after). In my experience, the XLR output from the DAVE is very good and probably equal to its RCA output quality.
You'll probably want to experiment with how you want to manage volume in the long-term, in terms of possible combinations of using the DAC's digital volume versus the two amps' volume controls. IMO there's no "right" way (within limits) other than what's most ergonomic...

I’d add one caveat to this, being you don’t want to go above +3 on the Dave solo or +6 if combined with mscaler. If you do, digital clipping will occur. The previous poster's suggestion notwithstanding, and since you asked me directly, let me give you my reply, in place, here in the Susvara thread:

Sorry for even trying, but I wanted to check if the new Macbook Pro that claims to have high impedance 3.5mm port could drive them!
Volume is 90% of max capacity, but... it does drive them "ok"
Not saying I will use that rather than my desktop setup, but good to know you can drive even Susvara with that. Which means it will be ok for many headphones.

Be careful when putting magnets on top of magnets as you have in the picture, can cause damage.Sorry for even trying, but I wanted to check if the new Macbook Pro that claims to have high impedance 3.5mm port could drive them!

Indeed -shows there may be a big difference between driving and being a good driver!Sorry for even trying, but I wanted to check if the new Macbook Pro that claims to have high impedance 3.5mm port could drive them!

Hello Susvara club. Wondering if driving the Susvara from the back speaker taps of a Hugo TT2 is good? enough or I need to add an amp? Also any thoughts on the Master 9 or Master 19? Anyone having good results? I only have a Singxer SA-1 at the moment and I'm guessing it won't be all that great? Anyone tried the SA-1? is it passable? The Hifiman dealer also has GS-X mini in stock if that's good for the Susvara something for me to consider. Feel free to share your amping experience!
*Also have the A90 but I think I read that that's also a no go for the Susvara...

The sa-1 doesn't do it for the susvara.
Do you have the TT2 already? If so, it will be a decent stop gap.Hello Susvara club. Wondering if driving the Susvara from the back speaker taps of a Hugo TT2 is good? enough or I need to add an amp? It depends on your setup. I don't have Hugo TT2 but I have AHB2, SA-1 and A90. If you eq extensively, SA-1 just don't have enough room. Sound wise, at around 80db I can't tell the different between SA-1 and AHB2 when I used a mediocre speaker tap setup (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WSQMD34 + https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07SQB7BD3). Recently I upgraded my speaker tap to a diy 18 awg copper cable and I can tell the difference now.Hello Susvara club. The Rear XLR from the TT2 are decent. Instrument separation, bass authority get better with speaker amp. I don’t find the difference night and day with the AHB2 but when I compared them after a while I noticed AHB2 is just better all around. Also, rear TT2 barely has enough headroom to handle classical music.
