Now this would be funny

I wouldn't be surprised to see 3.5mm instead of 2.5mm. The difference in size ain't big, on the contrary to durability.

2.5mm vs new 3.5mm
Ok, this puts any speculations to rest
Thanks!

That's good news if true and those aren't just the HE1000's or something.
3.5mm is way better than 2.5mm. Time to throw away the prior version Susvara's everyone.

From the pic, I can't definitively rule it out
Maybe he can post a pic of the headphones too. He did say that they were harder to run than his previous Susvaras though. So I'm guessing they actually are Susvaras

@TeamHiFiMAN are you now using 3.5mm connectors on the Susvara?

@GoldenOne Can you give your impressions of the holo may?
Absolutely the best dac I've heard for my tastes.@GoldenOne Can you give your impressions of the holo may?
Bricasti M21 can take a seat.....
Its sort of difficult to describe it without coming across as a shill, but the sheer depth of stage, timbre and every last possible piece of detail that it presents is just incredible.
If you get the chance to demo the may, or the spring 2, do yourself a favour and do it, it really is something else.

I own spring kte, first gen, which is identical to spring 2 if going through i2s transport. But apparently spring May is even better, which frankly, I wouldn’t imagine being able to be beaten under 8k since spring is so good.@GoldenOne Can you give your impressions of the holo may?
I prefer it to a few dac’s I’ve tried 2x its price. I myself am curious about spring may.

Spring 2 did have some upgrades over the spring 1. Afaik the dac module was revised. It wasn't just the USB implementation.I own spring kte, first gen, which is identical to spring 2 if going through i2s transport. But the may takes everything to the extreme.
Dual mono, separate dual mono linear Psu, even better fully isolated USB implementation, one of the best PLL and jitter rejection systems in any dac period, and the dac itself both measures to an insane degree, and sounds absolutely beautiful.
Again, I don't want to sound like a shill, but this is one of those few products that just stands out as truly excellent.
I've yet to hear anything that competes with it.
